PITMAN ARM

PART # DA300, DA302, DA303,

DA309, DA600, & DA602

1. Remove the drag link from the pitman arm & lower it down. (See Photo # 1)

2. Remove the pitman arm from the steering sector. Note: A pitman arm puller will be required. (See

Photo # 2). Install the new Skyjacker® drop pitman arm using the OEM hardware & torque to the OEM

specs. Completely remove the OEM stabilizer. Note: The OEM stabilizer cannot be reinstalled when

using a drop pitman arm, but a replacement one is available from skyjacker®). Refer to a Skyjacker

catalog for make & model part #'s.

3. Loosen the turn buckle clamps on the drag link, rotate 180°, & install in the bottom end of the new

pitman arm. (See Photo # 3) Tighten to the OEM specs (be sure to install cotter key). Tighten the turn

buckle with the clamps & bolts rotated to the top side of drag link to provide clearance for the steering

stabilizer boot.
